This week we lost 64-54 @Rozzano. I had 6 points and 2 steals. I should have updated before, because my memories have already started to fade by now, anyway.. I believe that one more three-pointer in the fourth quarter would have changed the match. Tia made one, I made one, and Dario made two in the third quarter (one off the glass.. duh), somebody should have made one more when we were trailing by 4 with 6 minutes left. It would have been very fortunate. But we can't complain about our luck, moreover I think we can't complain about our game either. We'll wait for them to come play us in our homecourt, ha. ;-)
Two days after we had another match, this time a friendly match. Both our opponents and us looked tired and unfocused on the court, but it's understandable when you play twice a week. Speaking for myself, it was like I had never handled a basketball before. I couldn't take a hold on that piece of wet soap, I just felt it slipping out of my hands most of the times, whether I was getting a pass or settling for a shot. It was almost hilarious! Nobody was taking the match too seriously, for it wasn't an official one. On the other hand, these friendly matches are quite useless, my teammates and I would better spend more time improving our conditioning and skills.
Yesterday night we went to the wine shop. Fox, Ea, Diego and I spent some nice hours laughing our heads off. You know, Pisquanello brought a girl that "happened to become his gf while he was trying to hit on her gorgeous friend" (???). Well, we witnessed our dear Pisqua making an ass of himself pretty much the whole time, acting like he was a grand viveur and an educated sommelier to impress the chick, ultimately cutting the usual sorry figure with all the others.. lol, hilariously awful. Or maybe awfully hilarious. Definitely something to be hanging out for.
